Cold Cast Bronze is a modern mixture of powdered metals mixed with a plastic form of resin. It enables artists to make copies of their work more easily at their studios.

Initially a mould is made of the original piece. Then tin and copper metal powders are mixed to make a bronze metal powder mixture, then resin added and mixed to form a liquid.

This is then poured into the mould and moved around so that the liquid adheres to the sides to form a skin, and then the rest of the mould is filled in, with iron filings, plain resin or more of the bronze resin mix.

Once the item has gone hard its removed from the mould and finished by hand, it is finally polished with wax polish.

To maintain wax and polish with a soft dry cloth, and take care as if knocked or dropped it will break.
